Santaana Fertility to invest Rs 50 cr, expand to eight Bengaluru centres through Magnet Hospitals partnership, ETHealthworld
Bengaluru: Fertility care provider Santaana Fertility has partnered with Magnet Hospitals to expand its presence across Bengaluru, with an investment of ₹50 crore to establish a network of eight fertility centres focused on integrated reproductive care.
The partnership is aimed at strengthening patient access to fertility services while combining Santaana Fertility’s clinical expertise with Magnet Hospitals’ hospital-linked healthcare ecosystem.
Founded by Padma Shri awardee and reproductive medicine pioneer Dr. Kamini Rao, Santaana Fertility said the expansion will continue to emphasise personalised, evidence-based fertility care, moving beyond a volume-driven IVF model to focus on accurate diagnosis and improved clinical outcomes.
“Fertility care has for too long been measured by the number of IVF cycles performed rather than the quality of clinical decision-making. This partnership enables us to scale a model where science, ethics and empathy come together to deliver accurate diagnosis and personalised care while maintaining consistent clinical standards,” said Dr. Kamini Rao, Founder and Chairman, Santaana Fertility.
According to the company, the expanded network will adopt comprehensive infertility evaluations, including genetic testing, reproductive immunology and male fertility diagnostics, to identify the underlying causes of infertility. The approach is intended to improve first-cycle IVF success rates while reducing unnecessary interventions, emotional stress and treatment costs.
Santaana Fertility said it will retain complete clinical autonomy under the partnership, with all medical decisions, treatment protocols and ethical standards remaining under the supervision of its clinical leadership. The network will also continue to offer counselling and financial guidance as part of its fertility care programme to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
